My experience with thyroid disorder patients
There’s a saying that Not All Heroes wear a Cape, which is really true. There are a few Real Heroes in my Life too who are battling Thyroid and winning over it every day with proper medication and a healthy diet. My aunt and her daughter both suffer from hypothyroidism. The Aunt got thyroid diagnosed a little later in life and had to struggle a bit with strict diet and major changes in the lifestyle along with the medication. Though it took time, she is now leading a healthy life. She was cautious enough to get her daughter diagnosed at an early stage when symptoms cropped up and started with proper medication. Both of them now are leading a normal life with proper medication and healthy diet.
With Healthy Diet and Medication, you can #RuleOutThyroWeight and lead a Healthy Life.
What to Avoid in Thyroid Disorder
If you are diagnosed with thyroid disorder, avoid vegetables like Cauliflower, Cabbage, Broccoli, Kale, etc. These vegetables contain a natural chemical called Goitrogen that can interfere with thyroid hormone synthesis.
